gary☆
a second-year sophomore, Gary Smith has a history of deviance and manipulation. it helps that most of the population of Bullworth are dumb as rocks and could be coerced into a paper bag, because Gary isn't actually all that smart but he thinks he is.
during the previous school year, Gary was caught with a knife and a hit list planted by Earnest Jones. he was suspended and sent to Happy Volts for most of the summer. he was prescribed medication intended to balance his mood which mostly made him numb.
after meeting dylan, he decides to stop taking his meds and he becomes violent and possessive. gary physically assaults dylan multiple times before they cut contact.
he gets his ass kicked by Jimmy Hopkins and finally expelled, but he still lives with his grandfather in Bullworth Town.
in a post-credits scene (director's cut), gary can be seen going to therapy with Vance's mom. a few years have passed and dylan has moved away at this point. gary has a breakthrough and a breakdown, leading him to have an emergency session at his therapist's home office. he runs into Vance, already crying, and Gary tells Vance how much he regrets how he treated Dylan and he wishes he could apologize.

mandy☆
she's the head cheerleader and super mean! everyone wishes they were her!
Mandy wants to move away from Bullworth and become a model, but to her that comes at a price. it shouldn't have to be this way, but heroin chic is so in right now. to maintain her ultra thin physique, she throws up all her food. but it's totally fine, everybody does it! just absolutely don't talk about it or tell anyone because that would be so embarassing and completely untrue anyway.
she doesn't pick on other girls because she's insecure, she does it because she's better than everyone else and they should know it.
